Farmers’ markets are a big part of the culture in Edmonton but the technology involved is often lacking. This project focused on wayfinding and creating easier access to markets, both internally and externally. While only one market needed to be fully developed for the purposes of the project (I chose the Old Strathcona Farmers’ Market), a directory of markets in the Edmonton area was also required. Maps, vendor directories, vendor profiles, and an interactive component were compulsory elements as well.
